Fabscaps - Miss Muffet

Hello, Sue D here with you today to share a layout using the beautiful Fabscraps paper range. Life's been a little hectic and I've not done much other than get the kids back into routine and my usual volunteering at my dd primary school but I have taken a little time out for me.

The background paper is Fabscraps - Miss Muffet and the photo is of my little princess standing in the shallow water at Mandurah foreshore.

Gather your supplies, if you are anything like me your change your mind halfway through or add more. Building is such fun :)

I cut my paper to allow my photo to sit behind and to add a little shabbyness I distressed all edges and slightly rolled outwards. Inking with matching distress inks helped to soften. I used TH Wild Honey, Salty Ocean and Pumice Stone.

From the piece of paper I removed I cut out two arrow shaped pieces, distress, ink, paint and then sprinkle with Diamond dust. (a little hard to see the sparkle here)

Using CraftersWorkshop Mini Confetti create a few water droplets with texture paste down right side and with Craftersworkshop chickenwire add to left corner which will be slightly covered by the Prima spray.

Arrange Prima Summer Carnation Thistle, twisting and bending until you achieve desired shape.

With Kaisercraft After Five rubon on chosen quote.

Take a piece of twine and roll it up to resemble a coil bundle of rope.

Lastly I added a Prima Shabby Chic Treasure bird resin piece.

Thank you for sharing some of your time, hope I hope I have inspired you to get crafty. Have a great day!

Sue D
